Frequently Asked Questions

What Happens During a Treatment?

If you are a first time client you will be asked to fill out a consultation form.

Once this has been completed the massage therapist will go through it with you.

Then the routine will be explained to you and you will be given guidance on how to get on the couch and what to do with the towels.

Please leave your underwear on.

You will then be asked if you have any questions before the therapist leaves you to disrobe privately.

The therapist will then come back in the room and arrange the towels accordingly for you.

She will clean your feet with sanitiser and sanitise her hands before commencing the treatment.

All treatments begin with a relaxation technique which the therapist will talk you through.

If you are having a Full Body massage once you are relaxed the therapist will begin the treatment starting with the back, working through to the legs, after one side is complete the therapist will give you a moment or two before assisting you in turning over.  The front of the legs, abdomen and arms will be massaged.  The Full Body routine is usually completed with a head, neck & shoulder massage.

What Happens at the End of a Massage Session?

You will be left to relax for a few minutes, the therapist will get you a glass of water to drink. Once you've gotten off the couch and come back to reality the therapist will ask you how you feel and whether the treatment has helped.

You may be given advice about what you can do to maintain or improve your body's equilibrium in between treatments at the beginning of the session your therapist will make some notes and give these to you along with some general points on what to do to maximise the benefits of your treatments along with any effects you may feel.
