Remedial Deep Tissue Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a remedial form of massage treatment.

Remedial Deep Tissue Massage aims to release chronic patterns of pain and tension that have built up over the years.  If you have never had a deep tissue massage before please beware it is very invasive and therefore is not recommended for first timers.

Remedial Deep Tissue Massage involves using long, deep strokes with the palms of the hand, and forearm to warm the deeper muscles below before applying techniques like Trigger Point Therapy and Neuromuscular Therapy with the Thumbs or Elbows to areas where nodules or knots are located.

Remedial Deep Tissue Massage can feel painful but the sensation is often relieving especially on the areas where you are experiencing the most discomfort or tension.
